Here are answers to some of our most frequently asked questions about our suite of Kraken products.

There are a lot of great WordPress themes out there. What we have found is that because these themes are built for a mass usage, they are heavy, bloated and often limiting when you want to move your website to be more than just a digital brochure. Kraken Accessibility
Website Accessibility is ensuring your website and all associated digital assets (videos, photos, PDFs, theme, plugins, etc.) works with those who have auditory, cognitive, neurological, physical, speech and visual disabilities.
Accessible Compliance is your website reaching a true “compliant” and passing grade, meeting or exceeding all accessible standards set by W3C and governed by the country, Province or State you operate in. Learn more with this Introduction to Web Accessibility.
In some cases you may not need to be fully compliant, yet. If you don’t, being “ready” is a great first step as compliance is a large undertaking. Understanding what needs to be done, what you have control over and how your website will meet these requirements is important.
Being Accessible Ready also demonstrates your business as an inclusive environment and will reflect on your business reputation, values and leadership.
If you operate a business in the USA, our understanding is that you do need to be compliant and would fall under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
If you operate a business in Canada that falls under federal governance, you as well need to be compliant.
If you operate a business in Canada that falls under Provincial governance, each province has different requirements. We would encourage you to contact us or review great information such as: https://accessibilitycanada.ca/legislation/aca-accessible-canada-act/
