2.22.0 Release Kraken Careers

The Candidate Workflow Update

Kraken Careers 2.22.0 adds a Candidate Pipeline and recruitment calendar, with updates to interview scheduling and candidate communications.

Move candidates between review stages, see upcoming interviews, send meeting details to attendees, and save messages as drafts before sending.

What’s Inside

Candidate Pipeline

The new Candidate Pipeline displays candidates in columns based on the review stages enabled in Careers settings.

Drag candidates between stages to update their progress, or use the keyboard controls to move them. Each column shows its candidate count, while cards display the candidate’s job, fit rating where available, and assigned reviewers.

View candidates across all jobs, filter by a specific job or assigned user, or select Unassigned to find candidates who still need a reviewer.

Recruitment Calendar

The calendar brings reference requests, received references, interview invitations, and scheduled interviews into month, week, and agenda views.

Colour-coded labels let you choose which activities appear. Jump to a specific date, return to today, or open an event to see its details and access the candidate record.

Scheduled interviews appear once meeting setup is complete, keeping accepted time options separate from meetings that are ready to go ahead.

Updated Interview Scheduling

Once a candidate accepts an interview time, you can set up a video, phone, or in-person meeting.

Add the meeting link, phone number, or address, include a message, and list everyone attending. The candidate and attendees receive the interview information, with links to add it to Google Calendar or Outlook and an attached calendar file.

Meeting details can be updated without changing the confirmed date and time. Cancellation and rescheduling controls handle changes to the interview, while View opens the saved information for review.

Candidate Communication Updates

Candidate communications and interview invitations now support Save Draft and Edit Draft. Prepare a message, save your progress, and return to it before sending.

Email and candidate-view previews remain available in the composer, so you can check both the notification and the page the candidate will open.

Communication tables and message details now use consistent layouts. Reply controls appear on received messages, and offer emails direct candidates to the secure offer page to read the message, review attachments, and respond.

Interviewer Evaluations

Create reusable evaluation question sets and assign them to individual attendees during interview setup. Each interviewer receives a private link to complete their evaluation.

Questions can collect a rating from 1 to 10 with optional notes, or notes only. Scored questions contribute to an overall percentage, and completed evaluations appear on the candidate record with the interviewer’s name, completion date, and responses.

Unfinished evaluations receive one reminder three days after the interview ends. Editing a question set applies to future assignments, keeping existing evaluations tied to their original questions.

What This Means

The pipeline shows where candidates are in your hiring process. The calendar shows reference activity and interview dates, while the updated scheduling tools keep meeting details together.

Drafts also give your team a way to prepare candidate messages and finish them later, before anything is sent.
