2.19.0 Release Kraken Careers

A More Flexible Candidate Review Workflow

Kraken Careers 2.19.0 is here with a major feature update focused on giving hiring teams more control over how candidates move through the review process.

This release introduces configurable candidate stages, a new reporting dashboard, clearer candidate management, and communication previews that help teams review every message before it is sent.

What’s Inside

Configurable Candidate Review Stages

Candidate review stages are no longer limited to a fixed workflow. Hiring teams can create and arrange stages that match their process, choose which stages appear on the dashboard, include stage totals on the Jobs list, and exclude stages from reporting when needed.

Dashboard queues, candidate filters, job counts, automations, and reports now use the same configured stages. This creates a consistent workflow from the first review through interviews, offers, and hiring.

New Hiring Reports

The new Reporting dashboard gives hiring teams a clearer view of recruitment activity and candidate progress.

Reporting cards can be reordered or hidden so each user can focus on the information that matters most to their role. Reports also work with the new candidate stages, making it easier to understand where candidates are in the process and where attention may be needed.

Candidates and Talent Pool

Applications are now presented as Candidates throughout the WordPress admin, while Archived Applicants are now called the Talent Pool.

Candidate and Talent Pool screens now share consistent filters, include candidate-name search, and emphasize the candidate and position they applied for. These changes make records easier to find and the hiring workspace easier to understand.

Preview Candidate Communications

Hiring teams can now preview reference requests, interview messages, evaluations, offers, hired messages, rejection messages, and replies before sending them.

Email Preview shows the completed email with its branding and resolved placeholders. Candidate View shows the secure page the recipient will see after opening the link, including questions, interview options, offer controls, messages, and response fields where applicable.

Important Reliability Improvements

Version 2.19.0 also improves candidate import and export handling, including more reliable attachment remapping and upload recovery.

Talent Pool highlighting, legacy review-stage conversion, responsive export tools, and candidate save confirmations have also been corrected.

What This Means

Kraken Careers 2.19.0 gives hiring teams a workflow that adapts to how they recruit.

Configurable stages, clearer reporting, improved candidate organization, and safer communication previews make it easier to manage the complete hiring process from one place.
