Kraken Careers includes several automated email notifications that are triggered throughout the hiring process. Each notification includes configurable settings to help you control how messages are sent and what applicants or HR team members see.

Notifications for Applicants & Personal References:
Thank You for Applying
A thank you message sent to the applicant after they submit a job application.
Applicant Rejection
An optional rejection message.
Schedule a Meeting
An optional meeting request for prospective applicants.
Reference Questionnaire
An optional questionnaire for a prospective applicant’s personal references.
Notifications for Internal Staff Users:
New Application Received
Sent when a new application is received, including a link to view the applicant.
Reviewer Added
Sent when a user is assigned as a reviewer for an applicant.
Reviewer Removed
Sent when a user is removed as an applicant reviewer.
Applicant Updated
Sent when updates are made to an applicant’s profile or application status.
Job Closed / Expired
Sent when a job moves into a Closed or Expired status.
Notifications Set Up
Here are fields to configure the notifications, along with a brief description of what they are for.
From Name: Enter the name displayed to the applicant as the sender of the email (ie: your company name).
From Email: Enter the email address displayed as the sender. Use an address on your domain to avoid deliverability issues.
Send To Email: Enter the main email address for receiving notifications. Only one email is allowed.
Reply To: Enter the email address where replies should be sent. Only one email can be entered.
BCC: Optionally add additional emails for those who should quietly receive a copy of the email. Separate multiple addresses with commas.
Subject: The subject line of the notification. Customizable.
Message: The email content sent to the applicant. Customizable, but do not remove the placeholder tags which are the ones with the curly braces {{ }}.
