License
Overview
The License setting stores and checks the Kraken Careers license key.
Go to Careers → Settings → Licensing.
The license status controls access to plugin updates and support. Kraken Careers checks the key with the licensing service and displays the current status below the field.
Enter a License Key
- Open Careers → Settings → Licensing.
- Enter the license key supplied for Kraken Careers.
- Select Save Settings.
- Review the status message shown below the field.
The key is stored with the plugin settings. Enter the complete key exactly as provided.
If the field is empty, the plugin reports that the license is not active.
Saving the settings refreshes the cached license check. A network request may be required before the new status appears.
License Status
The licensing field displays one of the following results:
- License is active: The key passed validation.
- License is not active: No usable key is stored, or the licensing service reports that it is inactive.
- License key is not valid: The licensing service rejected the key.
- License identifier is incorrect: The key belongs to a different plugin or product.
- License has expired: The key’s end date has passed.
- License server cannot be reached at this time: The site could not complete the remote license check.
The status is based on the response from the licensing service. A temporary connection failure does not prove that the key itself is invalid.
